Emerging all-rounder Aman Khan has steadily built a reputation as a reliable utility player in the T20 format. A powerful right-handed batter combined with medium-pace bowling, Aman first caught attention in domestic and franchise cricket with his ability to finish innings strongly and chip in with crucial breakthroughs. Aman took up cricket after watching his father play at the local level, and has played a lot of his cricket growing up in Mumbai alongside Shreyas Iyer, who was also his captain at KKR, one of the two teams he has previously played for in TATA IPL. He made his debut in the senior Mumbai side in the quarter-final of the 2020-21 Vijay Hazare Trophy. After 32 matches in T20 cricket, Aman has an impressive strike-rate of over 145 and the 28-year-old will look to make an immediate impact in CSK colours.
